Centralized Services Engineer

Job Description:
We are seeking a full time employee as a Centralized Services Engineer, who will work as a part of our Internal Engineering Group.
In your role, you will be responsible for assisting us with analyzing and implementing new technologies and systems to enhance the efficiency of our internal systems and to improve our client experience. You will additionally be responsible for proposing and implementing general recommendations for all components of our internal tool stack.
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, thorough, have strong collaboration, communication and documentation skills. You should have experience and be comfortable working both independently as well as part of a technical team.
Responsibilities:
Development and maintenance of internally focused systems along with documentation
Assistance with conducting analysis of new technologies and recommendations for internal tool stack development
Fleet management through our RMM tool
Agent Maintenance & Deployment
Automation - Scripting and Component Creation
Patch Management Policy Refinement
Report Development
Administration of Endpoint Detection and Response Platform
Administration of Managed Backup Platforms
Administration of Client Experience Platform
Maintenance of vendor API integrations throughout the internal tech stack
Directory management (Active Directory & Azure AD)
Endpoint policy management (Group Policy & Intune)
Microsoft Azure tenant management
Microsoft Office 365 tenant management
Security toolset management (EDR and MDR)
Providing assistance to the service team as required on relevant areas of experience
Requirements (Must Have):

5+ Years in the IT Field, MSP experience preferred
BA or relevant certifications and working experience
Experience working as part of a team
Experience using an issue or ticket tracking system and RMM tools
Strong communication skills (written & verbal)
Ability to learn new technologies and systems quickly
Ability to work through issues methodically
Ability & willingness to properly document processes and code
Ability to work independently
Great project management skills
Knowledge of cybersecurity and privacy principles, previous exposure to security frameworks is preferred
Experience working with the Datto family of products (Autotask PSA, RMM & Backup)
Experience managing Windows desktop and server operating systems environments
Experience and knowledge required to manage an Azure tenant
Experience and knowledge required to manage a Hyper-V environment
Experience with management of networking (Cisco Meraki is preferred)
Proficiency with PowerShell, Python, Bash, or JavaScript
Nice to Have:
Familiarity and understanding of ITIL Best Practices

Deskside Support Technician

Job Description:
We are seeking a full time employee as a Deskside Support Technician, who will work as a part of our First Response Group.
In your role, you will act as a primary support member of the team on day-to-day client issues.
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, thorough, have strong collaboration, communication and documentation skills. You should have experience with and be comfortable working as part of a technical team.
Responsibilities:
Supporting our clients via phone, email, remote login and/or on-site as necessary via pro-active and reactive visits
Creating new users, configuring laptops, and setting up their desks/workstations
Troubleshooting day to day technical issues and assisting with daily requests
Working trouble tickets from creation all the way through resolution or escalation
Prompt and thorough documentation of all work via our ticketing system
Documenting assets, configurations, passwords, processes, etc. and maintaining current and accurate documentation
Requirements (Must Have):

BA or relevant certifications and working experience
Minimum 2 years experience working for a Managed Service Provider (MSP) or in IT roles demonstrating excellent customer service and support
Experience working as part of support team
Experience using an issue or ticket tracking system and RMM tools

Ability to learn new technologies and systems quickly
Ability to work through issues methodically
Ability & willingness to properly document processes and assets
Expert level end-user and desktop support skills
Experience and knowledge of popular business cloud-based services
Experience in virus and malware remediation
Basic experience with Office 365 management
Basic experience with Active Directory & Azure AD administration
Basic experience with policy management (Group Policy & Intune)
Basic level server and networking skills
Nice to Have:
Experience using PowerShell & scripting

Schedule:
8 hour shift
Monday to Friday
On call

New York headquarters. Candidates should be able to reliably commute to New York, NY 10168.
